The city of Fier is a city very keen and very dedicated to the culture

It is called the capital of culture in recent years because of the major national activities has undertaken. This is thanks to the goodwill and kindness that it’s Mayor, Baftjar Zeqaj, has towards art and culture. Book promotions took place before our initiative, but these looked like fragmented events and there was a real lack of activities only for books. This was the reason that we founded Nationwide Book Fair, which in 2014 was a tremendous success. It was attended by over 72 Publishers and had a participation of 40 thousand visitors in just three days. Awards were awarded for the National Literature, and a high level Science Conference also took place.
